How I Earn In-Game Diamonds in Legend of Mushroom

As a Legend of Mushroom player, you’ll know the feeling of seeing the perfect upgrade, limited time or certain summon and thinking “Oh boy!”, only to check your Diamonds. Diamonds are a resource that can really fly out of your hand, I can promise you. I’ve definitely had moments where I’ve spent loads of Diamond in a matter of seconds and sighed “That was irresponsible.” However, over the years I’ve found some great ways to make sure that I’m not constantly running low on Diamonds. Below are the routines I use to make sure my little mushroom adventurer has enough Diamonds to get them through their adventures. I’ll also include some stories of my mistakes along the way!

1. Do Daily Missions

This might not sound very exciting however these are my go to. Every time I open up the game I complete my daily missions first. This will usually involve doing some fighting, getting rewards, upgrading and doing some different game modes. Completing enough will mean you’ll receive some Diamonds and other useful rewards.

My rule is simple:

Always check if there’s a red dot. If there is then I’ll look into it.

I used to ignore daily missions as I didn’t think the rewards were that big however they can add up! A few Diamonds here and there, event currency and maybe even a summon ticket can all add up to get you something you actually want. Also, there’s something really satisfying about completing your daily mission and having the whole thing ticked off. It’s like doing your room but you won’t get told to put your laundry away!

2. Event Rewards

Legend of Mushroom Free Diamonds Every time there’s a new event I’ll always check it out. Legend of Mushroom often has limited time events, log-in rewards, milestones, server events and other small reward systems. Some of these can give you Diamonds!

However, it’s not just opening the event. Always make sure you read what you need to do.

Sometimes events will ask you to do things you’re already going to do:

Log-in over multiple days

Clear stages or defeat bosses

Complete daily missions

Upgrade your character or equipment

PvP or guild activities

Use event specific items

I’ve missed out on nearly completing an event because I didn’t realise I only had to do one more game mode. I found out 5 minutes after the event had finished. This taught me the lesson of checking the timer! Now I usually will remind myself that if the event is finishing today I’ll take a few minutes to make sure I’ve received all possible rewards.

3. Never Miss Log-In Rewards

This might seem obvious but I’m surprisingly bad at remembering to do this. I’ll often open the game, complete my idle rewards and tinker with my build, only to get distracted by something and miss out. Tragic.

Legend of Mushroom Free Diamonds Daily log-in calendars often contain Diamonds or rewards that will help you save up Diamonds. Some can be really generous during special log-in events so I’ll try to pop in even if I don’t have much time.

My routine is usually:

Open game

Receive log-in rewards

Get idle rewards

Check mail

Look at events

Leave the game before I’m tempted to spend all my Diamonds.

It takes hardly any time but helps keep the rewards flowing.

4. Check Your Mail

The in-game mail can be a great source of free Diamonds and useful rewards. Sometimes there will be maintenance compensation, event rewards, ranking rewards, system messages or even gifts from the devs.

I’ve had days where I’ve logged in and there’s been a mountain of attachments in my mail. It’s like finding cash in your old coat pocket but with mushrooms!

Yes! Check your mail and take everything you can.

5. Gift Codes

Every time I see an official Legend of Mushroom post, community post, streamer alert or social media update I’ll look out for gift codes.

These can sometimes give you Diamonds, summon items, upgrade materials or other resources. They can sometimes run out so I’ll try to use them as soon as possible.

I’ll always make sure I’m using codes that are from official sources within the game or well known community sources. I’ll also double check the spelling as they can be very particular. I’ll also use them before thinking they’ve run out. Sometimes you’ll get lucky! However, I will never enter my account details on free Diamond generators.

If you see a website offering unlimited Diamonds for “Just your player ID” or anything that makes you download something sketchy then run! Don’t be like my mushrooms on auto battle speed boosts. Legit rewards will come from within the game, official promotions or standard in-game purchases.

6. Achievement Rewards

I love achievements! I’m definitely not 100%’ing every game (dangerous lie!) but they often give you easy Diamonds that you would have forgotten about. Every time I clear stages, level up systems, upgrade my gear, unlock new features or reach certain combat milestones I’ll check if there are any achievements to claim.

This can really help when you’re starting out as you’ll often reach multiple milestones in one session. I’d recommend checking your achievements if:

You reach a new stage bracket

Unlock new game modes

Significantly upgrade your gear

Level up / Evolve your character

Complete a load of quests

There’s no worse feeling than seeing a red dot on your achievements menu and realising you’ve had free Diamonds sitting there for 3 days.

Maybe stepping on LEGO hurts more but it’s close.

7. Join Guild Activities

Joining an active guild has helped me a lot. Not necessarily giving me free Diamonds but there’s always extra activities, progression, rewards in the shop and community perks.

Guild events, bosses, donations and co-op can give you extra resources to upgrade your character without spending any Diamonds. The more resources you get from other places the less tempted you’ll be to spend your Diamonds to catch up.

A good guild will make the game more enjoyable. It’s just lovely knowing that a group of people are working together behind the scenes to make your little mushrooms even more ridiculous! I’d recommend finding an active but not stressful guild. I like to be in a group where people are active but no-one will act like I’ve betrayed the kingdom if they miss a day.

8. Save Your Diamonds

This is something I’ve learnt the hard way.

I used to be constantly spending my Diamonds. A little extra here, one extra refresh there and “Just one more!” I’d then get a better event or limited time opportunity and be left with around 7 Diamonds and feeling very guilty. Now I’ll try to stop myself from spending and ask:

Is this a permanent upgrade or a temporary shortcut?

Is there an event coming up that will make this a better spend?

Can I get this resource through daily play?

Am I spending because it’s useful or because the button looks nice?

Sometimes it’s definitely worth spending your Diamonds but I’m not saying to hoard them like a little fungus dragon. However, I’ve found that being selective has helped me a lot. Having a good stock of Diamonds means you have more choices. Which is much better than panicking and spending!

9. Don’t Spend on Things You Can Earn

This is similar to the above but I wanted to include it as it has saved me loads of Diamonds. If you can get an item via idle rewards, daily missions, standard shop, guild activities or something you can play later I’ll try not to spend on it unless there’s a very good reason.

For example, I’m much more likely to spend on a limited time event than something I can patiently wait a day or two for.

I’m not the most patient person. I’m more of a click now, think later type. However, patience can be one of the best value plays in games like this!

10. Spend Wisely If You Do

If you’re happy to spend some money then I’d say the best value comes from monthly passes, growth funds, new customer rewards or something that will give you rewards over time. However, my rule is:

Only spend what you’d be happy to spend even if you don’t get any lucky pulls.

I have definitely spent on something thinking “This will be the one!” and the game hasn’t always been kind. Both me and my mushroom have looked into the void after a disappointing summon session. If you do decide to spend then double check what you’re spending on. Compare packs and don’t feel pressured into spending on a limited time offer. There will always be another offer. Games are great at reminding us that!

My Simple Diamond Routine

To keep it simple, this is what I’ll try to do every day:

Log-in rewards

Idle rewards

Mail

Daily missions

Active events

Check timers

Achievement rewards

Guild activities

Save until I have a good reason to spend

Watch official sources for codes

It’s not very exciting but it works! It feels much better to slowly build up your Diamonds rather than constantly rushing to get them.

Honestly, the best thing about Legend of Mushroom is watching your little hero grow from a cute little fungus with a stick to an unstoppable walking disaster with suspiciously powerful gear! Whilst Diamonds will help, having good habits will help even more.

May you have lots of rewards, notice your event timers and have luckier summons!
