As per the name of the stone, it mimics the appearance of a coconut and opens apart with the presence of different minerals filled inside. Usually, when you crack them open, a wide variety of various minerals such as Calcite, Agate, Smoky Quartz, Amethyst, and more is visible. Also, you can identify a color difference in each geode because of the natural formation of crystal types. They are usually mined in Chihuahua, Mexico, and are located at least 100 feet below the earth’s surface.
