Icelandair offers one of the more favorable policies regarding name changes. I mistakenly reserved my ticket using my nickname rather than my complete legal name and only noticed the error afterward. Fortunately, the Icelandair Name Change Policy enabled me to fix it without much hassle. I needed to submit some documents, but the airline’s support staff was supportive and simplified the procedure. The charge was fair, and they handled my request in a timely manner. I was glad that I didn’t need to cancel and rebook my flight, as that would have been expensive.
