Emirates Airlines does not offer a flight into or out of Sana’a International Airport in Yemen Emirates Airlines Sana’a International Airport until further security concerns and airspace restrictions are eased. The carrier had flown to Yemen but stopped its routes in 2015 after the conflict escalated in this country. The aforementioned airport, based in Sana’a, Yemen’s largest one, remains closed for periods and only receives limited commercial flights because of the ongoing conflict. Passengers interested in traveling from or to Yemen can find a possible alternative via the neighboring states, Oman and Saudi Arabia, to which Emirates offers daily direct flights.
